My dear friend Erin Elliott gave me this heart as she knew I was grieving over the recent death of my mother. My mother was my best friend, confidant, always unconditional love and support. She was fun loving, had the most beautiful smile, a wonderful mother, grandmother and wife to my father Hugh. She is so greatly missed by many. I am blessed to have so many wonderful friends from all over the Country sending hugs, love, cards and now a Hot Heart! Thank you my friend Erin!
In June 2005, I set out on a drive in San Francisco that would forever change my life. While passing through the city, I noticed a man crying on the street. Though I never interacted with him, my motivation to hand him something as a token of love and connection birthed the idea for HEART IS HOT.
